35th Annual Post 560 Chili Cookoff
American Legion Post 560 is proud to continue a Houston-area tradition that has brought together veterans, families, friends, and our community for more than three decades.
35 Years of Chili, Community & Veterans
Rather than changing the character of this milestone event, Post 560 will preserve the 35th Annual Chili Cookoff as the community celebration our members and supporters have come to know and love. And there's more. In April 2027, CASI and American Legion Post 560 will host a dedicated CASI-sanctioned chili cookoff benefiting The American Legion: bringing CASI cooks and supporters together for a competition devoted to supporting veterans and the Legion mission. What began as a conversation about bringing CASI sanctioning to our November event has grown into something even better: the continuation of a 35-year Post 560 tradition and the creation of an entirely new event dedicated to supporting The American Legion.

In April 2027, CASI and Post 560 will host a dedicated CASI-sanctioned chili cookoff benefiting The American Legion — bringing CASI cooks and supporters together for a competition devoted to veterans and the Legion mission.
