See what your membership, donations, and volunteer hours are making possible.
Every dollar raised, every hour volunteered, and every membership renewed fuels something real. These are not line items in a budget: they are projects, programs, and people whose lives are better because Post 560 showed up.
Heritage & HonorPost 560 displays a decommissioned F-4 Phantom II: one of the most iconic combat aircraft in American military history. This static display serves as a lasting tribute to the aviators who flew her and a landmark for the Houston Heights community.
Your Impact
A permanent monument to American air power and the veterans who served.
Memorial & RecognitionThe Legacy Plaza brick program is growing. New engraved bricks are being added to honor veterans, Gold Star Families, and community supporters. Every brick placed is a name preserved: a story that will outlast all of us.
Your Impact
Dozens of new tributes added each year, funded entirely by brick purchases.
Facility InvestmentPost 560 members voted to invest in the Clubhouse: the heart of our community. Planned improvements include a new patio and pergola, a covered walkway, and a dumpster enclosure replacement. These upgrades make the Post more welcoming for veterans, families, and the neighborhood.
Your Impact
Subject to member vote. Funded by Clubhouse revenue and member support.
Veteran ServicesPost 560 provides direct financial assistance to veterans and military families facing hardship: from utility bills and rent to emergency food and transportation. No veteran in our community should fall through the cracks.
Your Impact
Dozens of veterans and families assisted annually through Post programs.
Youth & EducationFrom Boys State and Girls State to Oratorical Contests and annual scholarships, Post 560 invests in the next generation. These programs build leadership, civic pride, and a deep respect for the service and sacrifice that keeps America free.
Your Impact
Scholarships awarded annually to deserving Houston-area students.
Community & FundraisingOne of Houston's most beloved community cooking events, the Post 560 Chili Cookoff raises funds that go directly back into Post programs. It brings together competitors, neighbors, and veterans for a day of fierce competition and great community. Note: the November 14, 2026 event is a Post 560 community event and is not CASI-sanctioned.
Your Impact
Proceeds support veteran services, youth programs, and Post operations.
