Who Is Eligible?
Membership in the Sons of The American Legion is open to male descendants (sons, grandsons, great-grandsons, stepsons, adopted sons) of members of The American Legion, and male descendants of veterans who served honorably in the U.S. Armed Forces during any American Legion eligibility period. There is no age limit — all male descendants of eligible veterans are welcome.
Female descendants of eligible veterans are encouraged to join the American Legion Auxiliary. Contact us for more information.
